Aloe is the name of a genus of plants of the family Liliaceae and is a perennial herb native to Africa, used for years in the herbal field.

Aloe vera is widely used to produce dietary supplements and cosmetics of various kinds due to its large concentration of vitamins, including vitamin A, various B vitamins and vitamins C and E. Aloe – and in particular Aloe vera – mainly used the juice and gel obtained from the leaves.
