What is it?
Recycled paper is made using waste paper, which is all paper that has reached the end of the product cycle and is reprocessed to produce more paper. Products that can be recycled include: newspapers, magazines, notebooks, cardboard boxes, and packaging.
How is it realized?
The process leading to the production of recycled paper involves several steps: collection and sorting of waste paper takes place the baling of waste paper and binding into bales, shredding the bales of paper into fragments, bleaching to remove the ink printed on the waste paper, and the addition of hot water to create a pulp free of impurities. The resulting pulp slurry is spread into rolls by rollers and sent to papermaking companies. The resulting paper can in turn be recycled up to six times.
