What is?
It is rock and crushed stones and waste materials collected in marble quarries that are ground and reduced to powder.
How it is made?
From this powder is made the NEW eco-friendly paper with low environmental impact that can be recycled indefinitely: the reduced calcium carbonate powder is mixed with a 20% high-density polyethylene, a non-toxic resin that acts as a binder.
Different uses
Stone powder is used to make multiple products, not just paper: boxes, packaging materials, packaging, labels, stickers, calendars, agendas, magazines, brochures, tablecloths, trays, floors.
The Food and Drug Administration has approved its use in food packaging.

Advantages and properties
Stone powder has many advantages and properties:
- Waterproof and water-repellent: liquids, water or fat don’t alter its structure because, unlike cellulose, it doesn’t contain wood fibers that, on the other hand, absorb liquids and deform the product like paper.
- Durable: stone powder paper has a longer lifespan than traditional paper, even at low temperatures.
- Washable
- Soft to the touch
- Not cut
- Resistant to tear
- Absorbs less ink when printing
- Sustainable production: it doesn’t require water use, reduced energy consumption, very low carbon dioxide emissions.
- No trees are cut down
- It isn’t produced and bleached with chemicals: the materials are already white.
- Biodegradable: decomposes in 9–12 months without polluting the environment due to exposure to water and sun.
